It's been a while since I've been here. I apologize. This website was created, at first, as a memorial for the great work of the Chicago 7. It was created durring the Clinton era when good times were flowing. There wasn’t much concern in the amerikan minds.

A new shroud has covered the land – The War Against Terrorism. Don’t think me unpatriotic – we desperately need to end the violence. My concern is the disintegration of privacy and civil rights of the amerikan people. What brought me back to this page was today’s announcement of the new freedoms of surveillance given to the FBI – to monitor emails, websites, libraries, religious events, political events and everything else that was once private.

These measures of surveillance were brought to an end after J. Edgar Hoover and his boys took it too far in the 60’s and 70’s – violating the first, fourth amendments. Now the administration promises it will use discretion in their searches. We’ve heard that one before.

Every day, since 9/11, the administration attempts to introduce a new measure against terrorism, playing on the new fears of amerika to sell their war and gain more control over amerikan lives. And, much like in the days of communism, the public is playing, unintentionally, right into their hands.

My message, here, is simple: BE AWARE!!! It is not necessary to give up freedoms to fight a tricky enemy. It is necessary to protect what’s ours – Our country, our lives and our constitutional rights. Last, but not least – your enemy is not always who it seems… ;-)
